BERGAMOT ESSENTIAL OIL
INCI: Citrus bergamia
Origin: Brazil
Extraction: Cold pressing of the bark
Properties: Antifungal, antibacterial, antidepressant, antiseptic, antispasmodic, carminative, digestive stimulant, stomachic, anxiolytic, psychoactive and sedative potential.
Benefits: Helps with dyspigmentation dermatitis (vitiligo), acne, oily skin, eczema, cellulite, scarring, skin discoloration, joint problems, muscle cramps, spastic colitis, addictions, restlessness, stress, insomnia, lack of appetite or excessive appetite and oily scalp.
Aroma: Citric, sweet and delicate.
Safety: The quality of essential oils is crucial as they are fat soluble, meaning they are absorbed through the skin and easily enter the bloodstream. Note: May cause dermatitis; check the instructions for applying pure oil to the skin; avoid high doses and do not use for more than 28 days without breaks.
Where and how to use?
Topical use:

Infants: 1 drop per 1 tablespoon (15ml) of carrier oil.

Children: 1 drop per 1 teaspoon (5ml) of carrier oil.

Adults: 3 to 6 drops per 1 teaspoon (5ml) of carrier oil.
Electric Diffuser (100ml):
Add 5 drops for a pleasant, long-lasting fragrance. It is advisable to test with more or less drops to reach the desired intensity.
Baths:

Soaking: Dilute 0.5ml of oil in 1 tablespoon (15ml) of carrier oil (honey or apple cider vinegar). Add a tablespoon of this mixture to a full bathtub.
Cosmetics:
Dilute 1 to 3 drops of essential oil in 1 teaspoon (5ml) of carrier oil and massage into skin for a few minutes or add to desired products.

Hair: Shampoo, conditioner, hair mask, leave-in conditioner, hair serum, hair tonic, etc.

Skin: Liquid soap, after shower oil, moisturizing cream, facial cleanser, facial moisturizer, foot cream, etc. Note: Do not add essential oils to sunscreen. Do not apply to the eye area.
In a hurry:
Add approximately 8 drops (0.3ml) of essential oil to 500ml of water and use as a compress.
Inhalation:
After dripping 1 drop on your hands, rub them together and inhale deeply in the form of a shell.
Massage:
Dilute approximately 20 drops (0.5ml) of essential oil in 1 tablespoon (15ml) of carrier oil or neutral massage cream.
Reminder:
Always do a patch test on a small area of the body to see if the skin tolerates the product.
CAREFUL:
When using citrus essential oils, avoid sun exposure as they are photosensitive and can cause skin discoloration.
How to store?
Always store in dark glass containers, preferably without transferring the oil to another container. Keep it in a cool and dry place.
